Behind the houses of Dorstener Straße hides a green oasis: the park Hamme. For those unfamiliar with the area hardly recognizable, small paths lead past the houses of the settlement in the small recreational area. A large meadow area offers in summer the possibility for a cozy sunbathing. For young people the park is attractive due to the sports facilities. There is a football field and several table tennis tables. Children can let off steam in the large adventure playground. For joggers and walkers the paths offer a small circuit. The route past the overgrown bioptop of the park and through a small beech forest is ideal for walkers.
