The Vahrenwalder Park is a district park, which was built in 1986 as a renovation project on a former industrial site on the Dragonerstraße. The park has a generous open meadow area as its center, whose border areas offer space for various activities. Walls and covered pergolas shield the park from the traffic.
The second construction phase of Vahrenwalder Park was completed in 1997. Since then, especially the residents of the adjacent neighborhoods use the park intensively. Special attractions are the perennials, a well and a large children's playground.
