The park is an attractive green oasis that is strongly focused on the active holiday maker, with sports lawns, lawns and a playground. The extensive path network attracts many walkers, joggers and cyclists.
In the park you will find old impressive trees, including Lebanon cedars, horse chestnuts, American oaks, swamp oaks, summer oaks, (red) beeches and a large magnolia. In total there are more than 50 species of trees and shrubs in the Te Boelaer Park.
In addition to typical park elements with a view to recreation and beauty experience, the domain has limited forest areas with a fairly indigenous character, and local vegetation is sought. The herb layer is well developed in many places. Small-leaved ivy, wood anemone, wood hyacinth, salomons stamp, weed and forest tulip (rare) give an indication for older forest soils.
