An excellent example of 18th-century Chinese fashion
The 18th-century Pillnitz Castle is located on the Elbe River in the former village of Pillnitz, which today belongs to Dresden as a district. It consists essentially of three parts of the building: the Wasserpalais on the Elbe, the Bergpalais opposite the slope and the Neue Palais on the eastern side. The baroque pleasure garden enclosed by the buildings is complemented by a surrounding palace park.
