  • Preview

It is the main center of Helsinki for outdoor activities.

It offers good leisure and outdoor activities from south to north. Its nature is varied, its terrain is varied, and the types of birds and mammals are abundant. Central Park starts south of the city center from Töölönlahti Bay and ends at Haltiala and Vantaanjoki, on the northern border of Helsinki. The central park of 1000 hectares is ten kilometers long and perfectly represents the rich and varied nature of the south coast.

At Central Park, you can feel the rhythm, color, light, and scent of the seasons. There, we practice, practice, practice, practice, cultivate farmland, learn about nature and thrive. Many Helsinki residents also pass through Central Park.

There are four nature reserves in the northern part of the park: Pitkäkoski Cliff, Haltiala Treasure, Niskala Tree Garden species and Ruutinkoski Beach. The Ruutinkoski shoreline is also part of the national leaf protection program. New nature reserve protection, Vantaanjoki River, underway
